Adjusting the aperture compensates for changes in light. Semi-automatic modes like shutter priority can be useful, but manual mode allows for more creativity. Slow shutter speeds require a tripod to avoid camera shake. Experimentation is key...

How to Get AMAZING Product Photography Results with Speedlights, LEDS, and More | Light Cone
Sir, you removed the doubts from my mind once and for all regarding Led's v/s Flash. Thank you very much. 🙏
The design of the white top is awesome, jewelry, and tips gave me ideas. Good refresher course on jewelry model. Thanks.
Thanks for the training on Fashion, Portrait, and Product Photography. It good to learn something new or refresh memory of photography in case need it or enjoy doing it as a hobby.
You’re a great teacher ,brilliant information.
Your introduction desk setup of this video is pretty much the best example. :)
Thanks for explaining the lighting on the model wearing jewelry and why it dark. I will do some research on men jewelry to get ideas. Thanks for the video.
do what u want
I feel that Leica lenses are better built quality than XCD lenses
my question is, can you compensate for a smaller smartphone sensor by incresing exposure time and come up with the same image quality as of a bigger camera sensor?
Amazon needs cutout only for jewellery. I tried and it gives error says image has non white BG. Thanks for the trick anyway it is good.
Thank you so much, sir. Could you please do more practical videos like this
This person is and amazing source of information.
You're moving the camera though!
Would like a monochrome only version of the X2D.
Hi Karl, On my X2D 100c on the 90mm lens, can I simply crop into the centre of the image, for example to 5000 x 4000 pixels and end up with the same sharpness as the original full size image except I now have a more enlarged view of my subject. I want to use the 100megapixels of the X2D to save me the expense of buying longer focal length lenses but don't want to sacrifice the great Blad quality of the images. Is his a feasible option or is there a better method. Thanks Michael
Thanks for the sample video. It gave me some ideas for my personal project. May look at men's jewelry for myself to practice with also.
In your video you are using continuous lighting. Can one use strobe lighting as well? And can one use a Bowen mount lights?
Do you have a video of shooting white products on white backgrounds for business owners? People who don't have $3000-5000 of lights?
Watching this makes me regret selling our H6D100c for the new X2D and 907CFV100 - I thought Hass would be more agile with new lenses - we had to buy a Fuji GFX100ii as well just for coverage
As always the master of masters great teaching! , thank you for sharing
Very nice flash painting technique
I am ankit love 🎉 your lesson u taught.
Please sir make more videos like this this is very helpful. I am from india from a small town .
The Hasselblad and Sony photos from your videos look great!! Will have to look at your other videos. Thanks.
Great examples of professional lighting! Good explanation, too.
Thanks for watching
I want them to release a Mini-LED monitor
He uses speedlights in all the shots?
We are using only the lights that you can Karl working with.
Dear Karl and Team ❤ Quick question: In the portrait at 0:59, how did you achieve this huge soft homogeneous catchlights? Can I achieve it with this modifiers? -80’ open silver umbrella -soft box 60x90 double diffused -parabolic 90’ diffused -strip box 30x120 / 22x90 Thanks a lot 😌
If I remember correctly, the shot was from a class with the huge softbox you see at 9:39. It's super close to her face, hence the power is low and the catchlight rather soft
This was mesmerizing! Master of light!
Thank you.
As I say every time, you sir are a wealth of knowledge. Thanks as always.
Much appreciated @thearabicdp, thank you for commenting :)
I watch few minutes of the video and I got some ideas if I every use a model or a friend. Thanks
Happy to hear your thoughts, @josephchan4198. Thanks for sharing!
I just stumbled upon your channel and this video. I immediately thought “don’t allow the pursuit of perfection to become the enemy of good.”
This is good if your growing company and need ideas for next photo shoot. I am glad the lighting is still compatible with most DLSR also if needed. Great work!!
Excellent and clear explanation on how to do this, thanks.
Glad it was helpful!
6:03 when you showed the closeup of the droplets, I literally gasped. Every single one of them has a beautiful gradient you could never fake in post. So beautiful.
You show us the droplets, but didn't say what the solution was made of?
Why don't you just take a before and then after picture in then edit the gold reflector out, instead of cutting it to the shape?
If you're going to go through all the effort to ensure the camera is level, why not use a cable release so there's less chance of knocking it out of focus by touching it?
Their is NO MATCH for your feedback videos or anything related to educational purposes. Great Respect for u 🫡👍❤️
Did you validate your calibration result? I mean technically not visually....
I would love to take photos of my paintings (even tho I didn't use varnish to avoid reflection) the Black color is so glossy, it reflects too much. I can't use such a huge cone haha. Any suggestion?
Hi yes, watch these classes: visualeducation.com/class/photographing-paintings-for-reproduction/ visualeducation.com/class/angles-of-incidence-and-reflection/
Wonderful! did you get to have a drink after the shoot :o)
I did thank you, not a bad drop. I'm currently on a bottle of Balvenie 14 year Caribbean Cask which is better though :)
Who is Domestic Nguyen ?
Karl got a good return making this ad for Broncolor. 95 % of the photografers use the cheap stuff and no matter what Broncolor does , it wont change
We don't get any return at all from broncolor for this video or any others where we've shown their products, but I'm happy to be an ambassador for them as they make really good kit which I've been using for over a 15 years. In the past we have made videos directly for them such as the 'how to' series on their website and those videos we get paid to produce for them. For this video and others like it we make them to test things and for the audience to enjoy, if you have any particular comparisons you would like us to make we will happily make them if someone send us the products to compare.
Art of photography is amazing
This is the best video for e-commerce shoot I have seen in recent time. Thank you so much for sharing this with us.
Very useful video - many thanks🙂
Hi Karl, Thank you for a fantastic review of this camera, I have heard that this camera does not have a live histogram in the shooting mode. Is this true? or is the histogram only available on playback, Regards Michael
amazing
thx!
